Update for May 14th

So, I haven’t posted for a few weeks. The birth of Ruby has really slowed down my progress and has thrown off my routine. Either way, I’m down 35lbs from my starting point in just less than two months. I am on a new routine and I am feeling great. My challenge this weekend was to live without using MyFitnessPal and see if I could make better decisions. Of course, I did splurge a little, but overall after going back and calculating calories, I was not too far off of my diet with the app. I am back on Pal tomorrow, but it was encouraging knowing that I do not need to be attached to an application just to be successful. I can live life within my own limits and desires. Your blogs are helping fuel me everyday with knowledge and motivation. Thank you fit-bloggers! Much love!

This is why I didn’t work out the past two days. Little Ruby Joann Shuppert is 7lb 14 oz and was born Friday morning. This is my new motivation to be fit and healthy. I am one proud papa. Keep moving and working out fitness bloggers!

Post number seven

Well, I’m about half a pound away from being down 30 lbs. I overate today, but haven’t gone over my calorie count for three weeks. If I have a setback, then that’s fine. I will be back on track working out more than before. I hope this encourages you to strive to be better and not let one day turn into more mistakes. Good luck fit bloggers!

Post 6.5

This was today’s breakfast:

Two pieces of multigrain toast with avocado spread. On top is a scrambled egg and chorizo mix with mozzarella and a chocolate, strawberry and banana Yoplait shake. The whole thing for under 500 calories. Delicious!

Number Six

So, as of today I’m down 28 lbs. in a month. I am enjoying the benefits of being healthy at the dinner table by feeling much better throughout the day. I have also noticed that I sleep much better at night. It feels good making conscious decisions of what I put in my body instead of food just going in till I’m full.

In other news, congratulations to Jon Jones on the win tonight. He controlled the fight the whole five rounds. That high altitude training really paid off.

Well, time for bed. Have a good night or day beautiful people!

Day…Well, How About Post Number Five

Things are good! From my last post I’ve lost three more pounds (down 27 lbs already)! I feel better everyday. I have been a little active, but nutrition is where I’ve been losing the weight. I live off of MyFitnessPal and have been passing on the app to my wife and best friend.

I keep up on you guys on a daily basis as well. You motivate me when I don’t want to move. I hope you all are stepping in the right direction and are living happy and healthy. Go veg out!

Day Three and Four of Fitness

So, yesterday I switched my workout for yard work and a relaxing round of disc golf. Gotta love walking up the hills of local parks and just being active outside. If you want to burn some calories, get a push mower that’s not self propelled. Calorie count was still great thanks to MyFitnessPal and I’m feeling great.

I was waiting for the Cubs/Cardinals game today, but since there’s a rain delay, I’m off to workout. Funny how that becomes your go to for boredom instead of food. Gotta love change!

Keep motivated and keep moving bloggers!
